Meet Dr. David Tran, DDS
I am Dr. David Tran, and I’m honored to welcome you to our practice. My approach to dentistry is simple: combine proven clinical techniques with genuine compassion and personalized care. My goal every day is to ensure that when you sit in my chair, your concerns are acknowledged and you feel comfortable, respected, and understood.
I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and maintain active membership with the American Dental Association. My dental license number is 14460.
Having cared for patients throughout Contra Costa County for more than three decades, I’ve had the opportunity to treat individuals with a wide variety of dental concerns. My experience includes everything from helping children through their first dental visits to assisting older adults with complex restorative treatments and full-mouth rehabilitation.
I understand that dental anxiety can be a major obstacle for many patients. We also provide composite bonding, a versatile tooth-colored resin treatment that can repair small chips, cracks, and cosmetic imperfections in a single visit.
Our complete cosmetic dentistry services also address stubborn staining concerns, and we offer natural-looking porcelain crowns, dental bridges, and permanent dental implants to restore both appearance and function.
Advanced Treatments & Restorations
Our office is equipped to provide advanced restorative and orthodontic treatments. As a certified Invisalign provider, we offer clear aligner therapy that gradually straightens teeth without the appearance or inconvenience of traditional metal braces.
When necessary due to severe decay, advanced gum disease, or impacted wisdom teeth, we perform gentle tooth extractions using modern techniques and local anesthesia to maximize comfort and minimize tissue trauma. If infection reaches the inner pulp of a tooth, root canal therapy allows us to remove infection, relieve discomfort, preserve the natural tooth, and strengthen it with a custom ceramic crown.
For patients missing multiple teeth, we also provide customized dentures, including complete dentures for full arches and removable partial dentures designed to comfortably fill specific gaps.

We believe quality dental care should be accessible to everyone. We proudly participate with numerous PPO insurance plans, including Delta Dental, MetLife, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Principal. Our front office team is happy to assist with benefit verification and insurance questions. We also accept major credit cards and offer flexible financing options through Healthcare Finance Direct (HFD).
